Why does curium glow in the dark?
Curium glows in the dark because it is a highly radioactive element. It emits so much radiation that it can cause water to boil as soon as a sample of curium is placed in the water. As it emits energy, it produces heat and light as a result of the high radioactivity. The light it produces glows deep red in the dark.
