What is the medicinal use of acridine?
For the treatment of giardiasis and cutaneous leishmaniasis and the management of malignant effusions. A topical antiseptic agent used in wound dressings to prevent infections. A slow-acting germicide effective against bacteria and fungi which is included in drug formulations for its anti-septic properties.
