In the Great Barrier Reef, Acropora sp. is a common reef-building coral (Dietzel et al., 2020) whereas Pocillopora sp. is an important coral in Mo'orea (Carlot et al., 2020) , and, as will be discussed in the next section, Acropora pulchra is a much stronger source of DMSP d and acrylate d compared to Pocillopora sp.
