What is the difference between Achylia Gastrica and achlorhydria?
In true achylia the curve of secretion does not rise, and the free acid and ferments are absent throughout. Achlorhydria means a depression of acid secretion in the stomach in which free acid is absent but a moderate total acidity with ferment activity is present.
