Is agglutination good or bad?
Agglutination occurs with most types of antibodies, but most prominently occurs with IgM and IgG antibodies. Agglutination is important for protecting against infection (and particularly bacterial infection) but may also result in autoimmunity or the rejection of biological material from other individuals.
