Is acinic cell carcinoma serious?
Acinic cell carcinoma is an uncommon low-grade malignancy that rarely affects the minor salivary glands. The pathologic subtypes of this tumor are solid, microcystic, papillary-cystic, and follicular types. The imaging findings are nonspecific, and most acinic cell carcinomas have a generally benign appearance.
