Abaca fruits are not edible since it has more seeds as big as peppercorn of about 150 to 350 seeds per finger. Also called Manila hemp. This fibre comes from a tree of the banana family. It is grown mostly in the Philippines, Ecuador and Costa Rica as a commercial crop.May 17, 2022
