How does sapota taste?
Manilkara zapota or sapodilla, nispero, sapota, or chikoo tastes just like a malted chocolate milkshake to me. It must be eaten when quite ripe, otherwise there's a lot of saponin in the flesh, which will dry your mouth out and not taste great at all.Feb 17, 2020
