Actinomycin D is a transcription inhibitor which intercalates into DNA. Actinomycin D forms a very stable complex with DNA, preventing the unwinding of the DNA double-helix, thus inhibiting the DNA-dependent RNA polymerase activity.Nov 5, 2018
