Do Muslims recognize Yahweh?
While the Qur'an does not assign the name Allāh with any special sanctity such as is attributed to the Jewish yhwh, it still does not plainly refer to yhwh, apparently in an attempt to avoid vocalizing it, if one is to assume the orality of the Qur'an.
